The costs cover the following and a minimum of 3 days off site work:-
pre-visit preparation, supply of documentation and specifications
examination of questionnaire and related documentation
quality manual evaluation
site visit
assessment and reporting of visit and observations
assessment and reporting any correlation work necessary after a visit
final reporting
issue of certificate and test schedule
participation in TEPS
contact for technical help and advise during the period of accreditation
listing of laboratory and level of accreditation on X-reference website
For all UK laboratories the costs are inclusive of travel and subsistence and
are subject to VAT.
For all laboratories outside the UK the costs do not include travel or
subsistence. Travel within Europe is by standard class. Outside Europe, business
or first class travel is used. Often when travelling within Europe we obtain low
cost fares which are non transferable therefore in the event of any cancellation
the cost will be bourne by the party cancelling.
Days incurred in travel alone where no work is achievable will be charged at
the £360.00.
